Although I am planning on using Aura Sync to control RGB fans, RAM, GPU, and Etc for cycle or locked color effects. With all of my Razer peripherals and Razer's light strip using Chroma for more advanced color options and possibly using an audio visualizer. It shouldn't be much of a problem unless that person is diehard for perfect RGB syncing.

It's still working for me and I'm able to control all my RGB using the old version of Aura Sync in the comment above. I don't use iCue but I did stumble upon this thread whilst researching my issue.
